PPVDomination.com is very close to allowing beta testers into their program. Having had the time to test many different forms of pay per view bidding bots, I am keenly awaiting the opening of this new bot which is going to support multiple ppv networks. Starting with Traffic Vance, they are expanding immediately to adonnetwork.com and Lead Impact (formerly known as Zango). Having the ability to set a maximum CPV bid on url’s or keywords reduces the amount you spend as well as amount of time you spend updating bids. The bot automatically figures out the cheapest price to maintain a specified position, allowing you to save money on all targets you are optimizing for.

Think about that.. How many targets in pay per view are you currently bidding on, and how many of them are you paying too much for?

Be sure to check out the fastest, most efficient ppv bot for automating your CPV campaigns today at ppvdomination. Their forums, tutorials and ppv scripts are added features that any modern marketer will want to use!

Ok lots going on over the past few weeks and I have been working my ass off.. As it is I am overloaded with work and don’t have the time I would like to get the main site completed. So.. I need help in the way of forum admins and mods.. The plan is to have this “evolve” into a lucrative side thing for ANYONE who expresses an interest in a topic that is “freddybeach worthy”.. What I am saying, is that if you enjoy any hobby and you have a decent knowledge, OR just like to talk about it and oversee other people talking about it then let me know There are many topics I would “rather” cover but that won’t make it any fun for me to decide what the forum is composed of…

So here are a few examples to give you guys some ideas…

camping

gardening

cooking

motorcycle/engine repair

home improvements

Anyhow as you can see the list can grow to a pretty large size, and for me to maintain this would be an impossiblity… So I need help!!!

What’s the site look like? well in its testing phase (as it is now too) it can be found here http://hub.freddybeach.com … Currently the content on there is simply for testing purposes only and we will be adjusting the RSS Feeds, content channels and adding forum topics as we go…

Now, what’s in it for you? Simple really.. if you OWN a business or have interest in a business then you can post in the forums over and over and have a link to your site, or your business info in your signature. This will garner decent exposure, especially if you remain active in the forums…

Eventually with all the niches filling in, the google sitemaps and mod rewrites functional (tech talk), we will see a surge of “outside” traffic to the forums. This is the area where you could benefit more then you know.. You could become an affiliate to a merchant who already sells or provides services in your topic of interest, and fly that in your signature to make sales.. You could write product reviews of items that you feel are truly useful and interesting to the audience you are talking to…Or you can also “become” your own merchant and sell your product, not just resell someone else’s..

What I am getting at here is that if you own a section of the forum at Freddybeach.com, then you take with it the advertising and the top banner etc… I am not 100% if we are going to fly banners up top, but should try it down the road, that Virtual Real Estate is yours.

(TO BE CONTINUED)

Well after a lot of hype and a huge launch, the Google Payload strategy has been released. Dubbed as one of the next huge marketing products, Google Payload is being referred to as one of the next big things.
Buying your keywods at a super low price and selling out when they climb sounds like a simple concept.. Well it is. There are guys using the system and limiting their daily budgets to $50. Well they are turning profits instantly, most between 200-500 per day! Is this a bit on the crazy side? Well the googlepayload concept makes sense, buy a surfer for a penny and unload them for a dollar, all day long. The more the keyword combinations you have, with your bid set low, then the more traffic you are going to have…
Go see the full details at the google payload site, click here now!!

It’s a wash rinse repeat strategy, as is the case with many internet concepts..
Never would a guy like me read a ONE page generic looking sales pitch and buyin.. Till yesterday… Brad Callin went ahead and released what is considered to be the most anticipated marketing software of 2007 yesterday (November 6). I held off for 10 hours, waiting for a review or 2 to hit the popular boards, newsgroups or blogs, but all was quiet. At midnight or so, I shot off an email to the bryson software crew, and to my surprise, I got a reply in short order. This is what pushed me over the edge or off my chair slightly, to pull out the sacred VISA card… Well I was up till 5 am watching the great videos they put together to get affiliates going FAST. I cannot imagine what kind of nightmare some of the successful affiliates woke up to this morning, when they saw tons of new competition surrounding them and their google keyword campaigns on adsense.. Heheh I can only imagine.
So tonight, I can barely talk more about the software, as I have just 2 hours to work. So far I am VERY impressed and I can say I am MORE then satisfied with Affiliate Elite. It can do some nasty things to your super affiliate competition, or simply to your competition.
Even if you aren’t a network marketer and have little or no experience with marketing, Affiliate Elite will show you in it’s FOUR steps (projects) how to level the playing field.
Affiliate Elite takes the guesswork out, and erases all the doubt about the work and time you are investing. TRUST me when I say that, as I have worked countless hours on projects which I “thought” would prove someday to be lucrative. With Affiliate Elite, you simply need a google adsense account and a few hours, and you will be earning money the easy way (Not sure if easy would be the right word, as nothing is easy, so Ill use the word fun)
If you want to try this latest release from Bryxen Software Inc, then I encourage you to follow my link here and go take a look (CLICK HERE)

Added bonus/Incentive!! I have uploaded a FULL members video that SHOWS how powerful this software is, and shows how pretty much anyone can use it.. Go check it out now, 100% free!

Seeing how the dot com explosion has left few if any dot coms left, you have to basically go for what you can get. Load your dot com with the key words that you are going to go after. Use dashes, – use 2 or 3 words joined together. That’s the only way you will get the kind of traffic you are looking to get.. This goes back to some of the LSI stuff we covered the other day. The major engines are aware that the big one word domains have been bought up and are being sniffed by bots everyday when and if they do expire.. This means they get re-registered and not developped, or go on the market.. That being said, you can get practicle domain names for the purpose of attracting new customers off the search engines. Sure you can’t get handbag.com or anything near that, but you probably can use the LSI research to find decent ones that will get you instant traffic by virtue of what people search day in day out.. Mind you this may not be high traffic, but its a start, and this is what the project is all about. Getting started and generating revenue for very little investment.
Today I am going to post an article from a reputable source. Enjoy…

Tips on Choosing a Good Domain Name
by Christopher Heng, thesitewizard.com

Before you rush out and choose your domain name or name your website, you might want to consider the following points:

1. Your Domain Name Should Be Your Website Name
Naming your site after your domain may seem obvious to some of you, but you’ll be surprised to learn that not every website is named after the domain name even when the webmaster owns that domain name.

Naming a site after its domain name is important, for the simple reason that when people think of your website, they’ll think of it by name. If your name is also your URL, they’ll automatically know where to go. For example, when people think of thefreecountry.com, they don’t have to wonder what URL to type into their browser to get there. The name of the site is also the URL.

Imagine if your business (or website) is called “Acme”, but somebody else holds that domain name. Instead, you have some obscure domain name called, say, “mybusiness.com”. What happens when your customers, recalling that Acme has a product they want, type “www.acme.com”? They’ll wind up at your competitor’s website. One lost sale.

In the modern world of the Internet, where people automatically turn to the Web for information, it pays to have a domain name that reflects your site or business. There are just lesser things for your customers or visitors to remember. Moreover, you don’t seriously think that they’ll try to memorise an unrelated URL just because you want them to, do you? The only people who’ll memorise it are you and your competitors who want to compare your prices.

What if you cannot get the domain name of your choice? It really depends on how committed you are to that particular name. If you have an existing brand name that you’re known for, you’ll probably not want to ditch that name just because you couldn’t get the domain name. After all, it took you a lot of time and money to establish that name. If so, you might simply want to try to buy over the domain name from the current owner. Check up the “whois” information for the domain, and contact that person listed to see if they’re willing to sell it. You probably should be aware that they are likely to want to charge a higher fee than you’d normally get when buying new domains (assuming they want to sell it in the first place).

On the other hand, if you’re just starting out, you might prefer the cheaper alternative of trying to obtain a domain name first, and then naming your website (or business) after the domain that you’ve acquired. So if you’ve acquired, say, the domain name “acme.com”, then your website and business might be named “Acme” or “acme.com”. I know this seems a bit like putting the cart before the horse, but that’s the reality if you don’t want to lose out on the Internet.

2. Generic Names Or Brand Name Domains?
I know that a number of people seem to think that your domain name really must be some generic name like “cars.com” if you are selling cars. Witness, for example, how much money those generic names are being sold for. But seriously, if you were looking for a car, you’ll probably already have some brands in mind, and you’re more like to try out things like generalmotors.com or toyota.com rather than just cars.com.

For that reason, I personally feel that a domain name that matches your brand name is very important. The very name that you use to advertise your product is the name that you will want for your domain, because that is the first thing that people will try in their browser. It is also the easiest thing for them to remember, and whatever that is easily remembered, will be more likely to be tried out than the obscure domain name.

3. Long or Short Domain Names?
Domain names can be of any length up to 67 characters. You don’t have to settle for an obscure domain name like avab.com when what you mean is AcmeVideosAndBooks.com.

Having said that, there appears to be some disagreement about whether a long or short domain name is better.

Some argue that shorter domain names are easier to remember, easier to type and far less susceptible to mistakes: for example, “getit.com” is easier to remember and less prone to typos than “connecttomywebsiteandobtainit.com”.

Others argue that a longer domain name is usually easier on the human memory – for example, “gaepw.com” is a sequence of unrelated letters that is difficult to remember and type correctly, whereas if we expand it to its long form, “GetAnEconomicallyPricedWebsite.com”, we are more likely to remember the domain name.

Some of these arguments are actually academic. It’s increasingly difficult to get short meaningful domain names. I have not checked, but I’m fairly certain that names like “getit.com” and “good.com” have long been sold. If you manage to get a short domain name though, the key is to make sure it’s a meaningful combination of characters and not the obscure “gaepw.com” in our contrived example above.

Long domain names that have your site keywords in them also have an advantage in that they fare better in a number of search engines. The latter give preference to keywords that are also found in your domain names. So, for example, if you have a site on free C++ compilers with a domain name like freecpluspluscompilers.com, it might fare better in a search for “free C++ compilers” than my other site, thefreecountry.com.

Which would I go for? I’d go for the shorter name if I can get a meaningful one, but I’m not averse to longer names. However, I would probably avoid extremely long names verging on 67 characters. Aside from the obvious problem that people might not be able to remember such a long name, it would also be a chore typing it and trying to fit it as a title on your web page.

4. Hyphenated Names?
Should you get a hyphenated name? There are a few things to consider here:

a. Disadvantage: It’s easy to forget the hyphens when typing a name. Many users are used to typing things like freecpluspluscompilers.com but not free-c-plus-plus-compilers.com. They’ll probably leave out the hyphens and wind up at your competitor’s site.

b. Disadvantage: When people recommend your site to their friends verbally, having hyphens in your domain name leads to more potential errors than when the name does not contain hyphens. For example, how do you think your visitors will refer to your site if it is named “acme-books-and-videos.com”? They might say, “I visited Acme Book and Videos dot com yesterday. It was fabulous.” Their friends, remembering that comment later, might type into their browsers “acmebooksandvideos.com”. Oops.

c. Disadvantage: It’s a pain in the neck to type. Enough said.

d. Advantage: Search engines can distinguish your keywords better and thus return your site more prominently in search results for those keywords occurring in your domain name.

e. Advantage: The non-hyphenated form may no longer be available. At least this way, you still get the domain name you want.

Personally, I prefer to avoid hyphenated names if I can, but I guess it really depends on your domain name and your situation.

5. Plurals, “The”, and “My” Forms of the Domain Name
Very often, if you can’t get the domain name you want, the domain name registrar will suggest alternate forms of the name you typed. For example, if you wanted website.com, and it was taken (of course it is), it might suggest forms like:

thewebsite.com
mywebsite.com
websites.com

and the like, if they were not already taken as well. The question is, should you take them?

My personal opinion is that if you take the “the…” and “my…” forms of the domain name, you must always remember to promote your site with the full form of the name. Otherwise, people are likely to forget to affix the necessary “the” or “my”. For that reason, I always advertise my sites as “thesitewizard.com” and “thefreecountry.com” in their full domain name forms, rather than just “Free Country” or “Site Wizard” (without the article).

On the other hand, I would not take the plural form of the domain name (eg, websites.com) if I cannot also get “website.com”, since the chance of the visitor failing to type the “s” in the name is very great. Think about the famous name tussle between etoys.com and etoy.com. Many people wanting to go to etoys.com were apparently going to etoy.com instead. If it happened to them, it can happen to you too.

6. COM, ORG, NET, etc?
One common question I encounter is from people who can’t get the “.com” domain of their choice, but find the “.net”, “.org” or other country-specific top level domains (TLDs) available (like .de, .nu, .sg, etc). Should they try for these?

The answer is not as straightforward as you might think. If your website or business caters to the local community, such as a pizza delivery business or recruitment agency or the like, then it makes sense to get a country-specific domain. You actually benefit from having such a local domain because the people in your country know that they’re dealing with a local entity, which is what they want. After all, if they stay in (say) the United Kingdom, they’re not likely to want to try to order pizza from pizzaparlour.com, which suggests a US or an international site. You’d have better luck calling it pizzaparlour.co.uk, ie, with a UK domain.

What if yours is a site or business that can benefit from an international audience? There are actually many schools of thought on this. I’ll just mention a few common ones.

The first school of thought goes on the premise that it is better to have a domain name of your choice “myperfectdomain” even if it has a TLD of “.net”, “.org” or some other country specific extension, than to wind up choosing an obscure domain name for the simple reason you can’t get your first choice. Thus they would settle for domain names like “myperfectdomain.de” or “myperfectdomain.net” or whatever. Against this is the argument that if you get a country specific domain, people might think that your business only caters to that country.

Another school of thought finds that “.net” and “.org” extensions are actually quite acceptable domain names. For some, the “.org” extension actually describes the non-profit nature of their organisation. So, for example, the famous Apache web server can be found at “apache.org”.

Others would settle for the “.com” extension and no less. As grounds for their arguments, they cite the browser algorithms used to locate a website when a user simply types a name like “acme” into the browser. Apparently, the browser searches for a domain name “acme.com” before attempting “acme.net”, etc. As such, people who do that will be delivered to your competitor’s site if you do not also own the “.com” extension. Indeed, even if people do not rely on their browser to complete their typing, many simply assume a “.com” extension when they type a domain name, so if your business is “Acme”, they’ll just assume your domain name is “acme.com” rather than “acme.net” or some other such name.

As you can see, there are actually good grounds for accepting any of the above views. My personal footnote to the above arguments is that if you get a domain name with an extension other than “.com”, make sure that you promote your business or website with the full domain name. For example, if your domain name is “dogandcatfood.net”, make sure that when you advertise your site or business, call it “dogandcatfood.net” not “dogandcatfood”. Otherwise people will assume a “.com” extension and travel to the wrong place.

7. In Conclusion…
In case the forest got lost in the trees (or the reverse) in my arguments here, let me reiterate the main point of this article: GET THAT DOMAIN NAME before you start your site or business.

Don’t make the mistake of attempting to retrofit your domain name to your business or website. thefreecountry.com did not originally start out with that name, and I encountered a huge hassle (and lost visitors) as a result of the URL changes (I’ll tell you about it in another article). Don’t make that mistake too.

If you need help getting that domain name, check out my other article on how to register a domain name. In that article, I also include a list of some registrars that you can use, distinguishing the well-established ones from the less established but cheap ones (so you have a wider choice, depending on what is important to you). The article can be found at http://www.thesitewizard.com/archive/registerdomain.shtml

By any other name would smell as sweet.

Ok so we got involved in the keyword selection for the website (soon to be commercial site) built around “handbags”. This is day 2 but by no means is it the pace you should be going at or slowing down to, depending on what it is you set for daily goals etc. I am simply making a site, using all the tools that are readily available out there, with free information and open source code to make this all work. The only expense I am incurring here, is of course, the server space I am on, (which other ventures cover the expense for) so here we go…(*I am also willing to GIVE away subdomains and hosting off freddybeach.com to get ANYONE who wants to try this stuff out)
Ok.. back to the keywords and LSI…(latent symantic indexing) Yesterday on a rough or ground search of the word “handbags”, the overture search tool came back with approximately 100 words that relate to handbags.. Steering away from the top 10-20 or so really competitve ones, today I dove deeper with the Nichebot v2 program ($1 14 day trial), to look at this new phenomenon known in the marketing world as LSI. Basically LSI research is important on a lot of levels, but moreso by giving you, the website owner/marketer a whole new set of keywords and phrases that make sense to your original “keywords”. Ill give an example: I initially was off to make a site on handbags. The site, at the outset was to be an information site/blog site that had the word handbag in the domain somehow. Next, I had to look into the keywords I was going to focus on, without trying to compete with the giants in established industry.
So that’s where yesterday’s searching led me to. Basically choosing less competitive keywords, “women’s handbags” and “quilted handbags”.
These words are awesome for the site and if anyone types these in at a major engine like google or yahoo, then I hope Im fortunate enough to have a top 10 spot and some catchy headings so lure them to my site…
But those keywords aren’t enough. Not even close! So what am I going to do about this? Well, it’s time to look into this whole LSI phenomenon…I want lateral and even errant or accidental traffic to stumble on my site, but only those surfers who are searching for something very similar in nature to what it is I am offering on my site.. Heck.. My content will be based on these terms and phrases, so how could an interested surfer not want to “read up” or “buy” once they see this content rich site? Well my handbag site isn’t going to be limited to “womens handbags” and “quilted handbags”. LSI research compiles monster lists of keywords/phrases and catch-all phrases like “black leather hobo bags”, “bridal evening bags”, “carrying bags”, “cheap bags”, “designer shoulder bags”, “embroidered bags”, “marilyn monroe bags” and many many more.. So do you see where this could all be going? These 100’s upon thousands of keyword phrases that people search everyday, could well be what seperates my handbag from the rest of the average ones. In no way do I expect to compete with the largest commercial sites out there, but a piece of their action would certainly be nice…
The keyword and lsi research can be initially done on your own, using overture search tools, and others (here are some links – keyworddiscovery, overture (same thing really) . I felt at this point, a little overwhelmed, so I took Jim Morris up on his 14 day guarantee for his product, called Niche Bot Version 2… This is a very intruiging site with many features, so call me a sucker, I signed up for $1 yesterday and am now learning a lot inside his memners area. This 14 days will be busy for me learning, but I am planning on getting as much out of it as I can so I can decide then if its worth the monthly fee of $19.95. (plus addons, everything you do inside the members area pretty much costs credits.. the more LSI searches you perform, the more credits you burn etc…) You can read all about his site at www.nichebot.com .. Signup for his newsletter he is a very smart guy.

I am going to shorten up the post now on LSI and keyword research, simply because I’m assuming you get the drift by now. If not here are plenty of websites out there that will more then likely overload you on the topics.. Just remember. Free is good, and you can do this “important” and fun work on your own, so don’t be fooled by marketing ploys at this level.. It’s YOUR decision from here on in and noone can run your business. Its hard work, but it will pay off. Noone will make you rich quick, it just doesn’t work that way.
(here is a freebie I played around with…)
download good keywords

Tomorrow (or saturday) we are going to go through the domain selection phase and initial setup of the blog for the informational site we are building around “handbags”. This is going to be packed with good information so be sure to check it out.

Soo…. you have a website..You may have an info site, you may have an ecommerce site, or anything in between. Many people these days begin with a site that is more personal in nature, but then evolves into something more…
Myself, I have gone through all the stages of not really having a plan in place before I’ve embarked on certain projects. It’s generally accepted these days, that can be your downfall, but for me I don’t always think this is the case. WHAT is your website’s intention? Are you selling something, at least an adsense banner from google? If so, … then this is where I seperate myself from some advisors. “do what you love, and the money will follow” doesn’t always apply on the web. Especially when you search a popular term that interests you (say golf for example at google) and you get over 19 million results.. What to do.. Narrow it down? Well you could… You could find that golf tees or golf spikes or golf hats are far less popular then golf clubs, balls and courses, but that also means far less competitive and quite possibly a niche that hasn’t been acknowledged yet. From the golf example above, check out this page (the Keyword SEO tool). Consider this step more of a “brainstorming” step. You may end up with a completely different marketing plan for your website from this step, or you may well even change your mind on what it is you were planning to sell online. Bottom line, NOW is a good time to sort out what it is you are going to pursue in your venture.
For me, I have put very little thought or research into this, but I am going to try to build site(s) around “handbags”. The term handbags, from an SEO perspective, is a very popular keyword, so I am going to begin by searching it in the keyword seo tool now…
Ok from this broad search, I have eliminated a lot of results near the top, as the competitveness is very high. Don’t let this tool tell you the whole story either, there are other ways to search… You can goto google, yahoo and msn (major search engines) and do your own searches to see results..
Ok so for the purpose of going through with the initial research on handbags, here is a cut image of the results. (handbags keywords results)
Ok so from what you can see, I am now beginning to choose my area or niche within the realm of handbags… At the moment, Im interested but not following up on things such as prada, ripoff, knockoffs etc… I am going with the terms that will apply to my site and on my site, I will have HAND made or custom made handbags, so these 2 are good examples of reasonable keywords…
Check back tomorrow for the next step, of ammassing your list of relevant keywords, ones that your site will target, and ones that should bring you qualified surfers/buyers!!
